What Is The Holy Bible? The Bible is the most important book that has ever written. It is a gift to us from God himself, full of knowledge and wisdom. It is true that styles and tastes have changed, yet through history people have always recognized the Bible's uniqueness.
They treat it with a special reverence. Strangely, even people who value the Bible often fail to read it. Most Americans honestly believe the Bible to be from God. Polls reveal that only a small percentage of Americans can name basic Biblical facts; such as four of the Ten Commandments. The Bibles are sitting somewhere on a shelf or a coffee table impressive to look at but remain unread.

Why The NIV Bible?

Why Read The Bible? Unless a person communicates with you either in speech, gestures or facial expressions you can't get to know him or her. What goes on behind the mask of skin will always remain a mystery. God, too, was a mystery until he broke his silence! He spoke once, and all creation sprang to life - quasars, oceans, whales, giraffes, orchids, and beetles.
God spoke again, and this time the Word took the form of a man, Jesus Christ. Many Christians mention repeatedly of their guilt about not reading the Bible consistently. They believe in the Bible... expect to find help there, yet do not read the Bible as often as they should.
