Sonnet Of The Heart

I stare up into the darkening sky, the window to heaven shines with a vibrant hue. 

Then a glorious light is beheld by my eye, the light glows yet brighter and from it came you.

Your beauty was brilliant for all to see, upon your glory my eyes did dine.

For I have not glimpsed one as beauteous as thee, I watched from the shadows and realized you were mine.

Finally, I dared creep from the darkness, I went towards you and extended an open hand.

Your voice was soft in its fullness, as we walked and talked upon the sand.

Our love began to blossom and grow, and upon me a kiss you did bestow.
